What’s the role?Spa Supervisor About The Ned:The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time. The Ned launched in 2017 in the heart of the City, in the former Midland Bank headquarters. It has since expanded to include The Ned NoMad in New York, The Ned Doha, and Ned’s Club Washington DC. Each property is unique and tailored to it’s location, but the ethos of The Ned remains the same; to create a space for like-minded professionals to meet, work, and have a good time. The Ned City of London, where this role is based, houses Ned’s Club - a private members’ space, gym and rooftop - alongside a public spa, a whole floor of event spaces, ten restaurants and bars, and 250 hotel bedrooms. Reporting to the Spa Manager, you will:<ul><li>Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Spa, ensuring exceptional standards of service, presentation, and efficiency at all times</li><li>Act as Duty Manager, taking responsibility for the smooth operation of the Spa and wider wellness facilities during assigned shifts</li><li>Demonstrate flexibility in working patterns, including evenings, weekends, in line with business needs</li><li>Create a warm and welcoming environment across all wellness spaces, ensuring every guest journey feels personal, seamless, and memorable from arrival through to post-treatment car</li><li>Manage the Spa booking system effectively, optimising therapist schedules, treatment availability, and room utilisation to maximise revenue and profitability</li><li>Partner closely with our wellness, rooms, housekeeping, and membership teams to deliver a seamless experience for members and hotel guests</li><li>Handle guest feedback with confidence, finding solutions that protect both guest experience and The Ned&#39;s reputation</li></ul> What The Ned can give you:<ul><li>Salary of up to £34,000 depending on experience</li><li>Complimentary meals in our friendly team restaurant, Neddy’s including monthly payday breakfast</li><li>Exciting learning and development programmes to help progress your career</li><li>Exclusive rates at The Ned for staying and eating for you, your family and friends</li><li>Wellbeing and health benefits, including Reward Gateway and Stream, with access to gym, shopping, and cinema discounts</li><li>Your birthday off after a year of service and more holiday after five years</li><li>Paid volunteer day</li><li>Refer a friend scheme</li><li>Regular social events, including an annual pool party</li><li>Employee assistance programme – 24/7 advice and support</li><li>Reward and recognition initiatives</li></ul> What you can bring to the role:<ul><li>Previous experience in a luxury spa or wellness environment is essential, and supervisory or leadership experience would be preferred</li><li>A passion for hospitality and wellbeing, with the ability to inspire teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences</li><li>Strong organisational and operational skills, with the ability to balance commercial focus and people leadership</li><li>Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities</li><li>A calm, grounded presence that sets the tone for the spa environment</li><li>Experience with compliance, and wellness‑related health and safety is highly beneficial</li></ul> At The Ned, we don&#39;t just celebrate our diversity, we challenge ourselves to do even better.
