The Ned Doha
The building that now houses The Ned, Doha, was originally built as Qatar's Ministry of Interior and designed by Lebanese architect William Sednaoui. Created in the 1960’s the building is a brutalist landmark, also drawing on 70’s glamour.
After a full transformation aligned with Qatar’s goal to repurpose historically significant buildings, The Ned Doha offers seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms, event venues, and Ned’s Club, a private members’ club that gives access to spaces including a rooftop terrace, a health club with spa, gym and 30m outdoor pool.
