The Ned Nomad - Sales

Role: Sales ExecutiveReports to: Director of SalesLocation: The Ned NoMad Who We Are…  Welcome to The Ned NoMad, a sophisticated members' club and hotel nestled in the heart of New York City. As the first international outpost of The Ned, we proudly opened our doors in Summer 2022, following the iconic debut of The Ned London in 2017. The Property… Set in the historic Johnston Building, formerly the NoMad Hotel, our property boasts a rich legacy dating back to 1903. With design expertise from the Soho House Design team, we've lovingly preserved the building's original charm while infusing it with a fresh, contemporary style. At The Ned NoMad, we offer an eclectic mix of exclusive and public spaces, including 167 elegantly appointed bedrooms and suites, a lively rooftop bar and terrace restaurant, a first-floor bar, grill, and lounge, and nightly live entertainment at The Atrium Stage. Our public dining options include Cecconi’s, a modern-day classic Italian restaurant inspired by mid-century Trattorias, and Little Ned, a chic spot for handcrafted cocktails and bar classics with views of the Empire State Building. The Role…The Sales Coordinator is a detail-oriented professional who supports the Sales and Events team by managing the administrative and operational components of the sales process. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate systems, coordinating sales activities, and ensuring a high standard of service throughout the client lifecycle. The role requires a highly organized, effective communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position is designed as a developmental role, offering exposure to sales strategy, client engagement, and revenue operations while contributing to the overall success of The Ned. This individual must possess good communication skills, be able to resolve conflicts and have a thorough understanding of Ned policies, procedures and expectations. Essential Functions:<ul><li>Support the Sales and Events team by managing and coordinating all administrative aspects of the sales process, including lead distribution, proposal preparation, and client correspondence to ensure timely and professional responses that align with departmental goals</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across all sales and property systems, including CRM(Salesforce/Delphi/Tripleseat) and PMS platforms, ensuring proper management of group bookings, room blocks, client profiles, and billing details to support revenue generation and reporting accuracy</li><li>Coordinate client and operational needs by acting as a liaison between Sales and internal departments (Front Office, F&amp;B, Operations), ensuring all group and event details are clearly communicated and executed to deliver a seamless guest experience</li><li>Track and manage key sales deadlines, including contracts, deposits, rooming lists, and pick-up milestones, ensuring compliance with hotel policies and supporting the team in maximizing revenue opportunities</li><li>Assist with site inspections, client visits, and in-house events by preparing materials, coordinating logistics, and supporting the overall client experience to enhance conversion and client satisfaction</li><li>Prepare and distribute sales reports, event documentation, and communication materials, including weekly event packets, group resumes, and production reports, to ensure alignment across teams</li><li>Support planning, set up, and execution of in-house events and VIP experiences</li><li>Support departmental initiatives by maintaining sales collateral, proposal templates, and marketing materials, ensuring all content reflects current offerings and brand standards</li><li>Participate in weekly sales meetings and other required operational meetings. contributing to team alignment, communication, and overall sales strategy execution</li><li>Maintain knowledge of hotel policies, safety standards, and operational procedures, and provide support to leadership with administrative tasks and special projects as needed</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications… <ul><li>Four-year college degree preferred, preferably in Hospitality and/or Marketing</li><li>At least 1 year of experience in hotel sales, events, or hospitality</li><li>Previous hotel or customer-facing experience preferred </li><li>Market knowledge preferred </li><li>Experience in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular) and Outlook as well as Lanyon/Cvent, TEAMS, Delphi, Tripleseat and Opera </li></ul> Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.</li><li>Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.</li><li>Fast-paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others.</li><li>Must be able to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 20 to 60 pounds.</li><li>Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.</li><li>Must be able to use step ladder.</li></ul> Our Doors Are Yours to Open…The Ned is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace that seeks to recruit, develop, and retain the most talented people from a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.
