After launching The Ned London in 2017, we are proud to have opened Ned’s Club in the US capital in 2025, our fourth and newest location. The property…Ned’s Club Washington DC is a members’ club set over three floors of a neoclassical style building situated within President’s Park at 734 15th Street NW. The Riggs Building sits opposite the US Treasury and was constructed in 1930. The 12-storey building is located around the corner from the White House and sits above the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, formerly the historic Riggs Bank Corcoran branch. The Club has a Rooftop Terrace and Loft Restaurant with views overlooking the White House, US Treasury and Washington Monument, plus a Founder’s Dining Room, The Library, Drawing Room, Gallery and Conservatory. On level nine, there is a self-contained floor of private event spaces. As the Event Sales Coordinator you will be reporting to the Director of Catering Sales and the Event Sales Manager and as an integral part of the Catering &amp; Events team you will: <ul><li>Be a welcoming and calming presence when supporting our clients inquiries, tours, questions and event details to enhance their experiences and head-off any glitches early</li><li>Assist with selections, planning and executing events for our clients</li><li>Draft and distribute Banquet Event Orders including food selections, room set ups, AV and program schedule sequence</li><li>Assist in coordination and planning of event operations and logistics, including vendor communication, parking, scheduling, music, rentals, etc.</li><li>Track event budgets, expenses, payments and due dates</li><li>Serve as support to Events Sales Manager and the Director, including event plan execution.</li><li>Work closely with other operating departments to ensure our events are memorable and exceed our clients expectations</li><li>Take the lead in generating reports and financial analysis</li><li>Create Daily, weekly and monthly reporting packs for sales and executive team</li><li>Take lead in ensuring payment process for events are adhered to</li></ul> What you can bring to the role: <ul><li>Rapport building skills are essential for this role, every client is a loyal member or a potential new member, so every interaction is crucial to our success</li><li>Have exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail</li><li>Be able to find solutions quickly and independently at times is key</li><li>Must have above-average computer skills, and ability to learn new software quickly and thoroughly</li><li>Experience working with colleagues in event planning, sales, marketing and communications.</li></ul> What can The Ned give you: <ul><li>Salary of up to $31/hour</li><li>Medical, Dental, Vision, Company Paid Life, STD, LTD Insurance</li><li>Complimentary meals in our friendly team restaurant</li><li>Exciting learning and development programs to help progress your career</li><li>Exclusive rates with our hotels for stays and dining, exclusive rates for your family and friends for hotel stays.</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>401k matching</li><li>Employee assistance program –advice and support</li><li>Reward and recognition initiatives</li></ul> At The Ned, we don't just celebrate our diversity, we challenge ourselves to do even better.
