The Property…Set in the historic Johnston Building, formerly the NoMad Hotel, our property boasts a rich legacy dating back to 1903. The Role…We are on the lookout for a dynamic Server to join our team and report directly to the Head of Bars. In this role, you'll thrive in our fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks and projects with flair, efficiency, and independence.Our culture is one of vibrant energy paired with unwavering support. Your attention to detail and customer-focused approach will ensure that every guest experience at The Ned NoMad is not just memorable, but truly extraordinary. Main Duties…<ul><li>Responsible stocking stations before and after service while maintaining inventory levels during a shift on high-volume shifts.</li><li>Provide quality service to all guests and members.</li><li>Influentially promote menu items and suggest pairing options during service.</li><li>Demonstrate a full understanding of allergy procedures.</li><li>Participate in Food and Drink demos, trainings, and product information sessions.</li><li>Be able to confidently answer guest questions about menu items, offering recommendations based on their preferences and dietary restrictions.</li><li>Maintain knowledge of daily specials and promote them effectively to guests.</li><li>Understand the proper handling and service of alcoholic beverages, adhering to all responsible service regulations.</li><li>Be able to recommend wine pairings or suggest non-alcoholic beverage options to complement meals.</li></ul> Requirements<ul><li>A minimum of 1 -2 years of experience in a fast paced and professional environment</li><li>Previous experience as a server or back server with a food forward and high-volume establishment</li><li>Proven success of “champion of the culture,” facilitating excellent communication and engagement</li><li>Team focused with an understanding of the bigger picture and how you can contribute</li><li>Able to effectively manage different stakeholders and be persuasive</li></ul> Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.</li><li>Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.</li><li>Fast-paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others.</li><li>Must be able to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 20 to 60 pounds.</li><li>Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.</li><li>Must be able to use step ladder.</li></ul> Physical Requirements:● Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.● Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.● Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others.● Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 20 to 60 pounds.● Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.● Must be able to use step ladder. The Role:We are looking for a passionate and energetic F&amp;B Supervisor with a strong background in cake shop or retail operations to join our team and help deliver delightful guest experiences in our vibrant cake shop.As F&amp;B Supervisor, you will support the daily operations of the cake shop, ensuring smooth service, attractive product presentation, and outstanding guest satisfaction. You will lead the team on the floor, maintain quality standards, and create a welcoming retail environment that reflects The Ned Doha’s luxury brand.
