The Ned

The pastry kitchen at The Ned produce delicious desserts and pastries to be served anywhere in our hotel, members spaces, or any of our 10 restaurants. Whether that&#39;s a cake for a wedding on our events floor, croissants and pain au chocolate for a breakfast meeting, afternoon tea to be served in Millie&#39;s, or a whole host of desserts for our famous Sunday Feast, the pastry kitchen do it all. The Ned boasts 10 restaurants each serving a unique style of cuisine from around the world, and as Pastry Chef de Partie you will run service, producing gorgeous desserts to order, perfect to finish off their meal. What’s the role?Chef De Partie - All levels About the Ned:The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time. The Ned City of London launched in 2017, in the former Midland Bank headquarters. The Ned City of London houses Ned’s Club - a private members’ space, gym and rooftop - alongside a public spa, a full floor of events spaces, ten restaurants and bars and 250 hotel bedrooms. As part of our pastry kitchen and reporting to the kitchen leadership team, you will:<ul><li>Keep our guests and customers well fed by preparing and serving our dessert menus</li><li>Prepare desserts that look and taste amazing, always following Ned standards</li><li>Tackle any glitches or issues head on, prioritising the guest experience every time</li><li>Work alongside the other chefs, runners, and management teams to deliver a seamless and smooth experience to every guest</li><li>Maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment, protecting our guests and your teammates from any possible harm</li><li>Our service flows straight from breakfast, to lunch, into dinner so you will need to keep your kitchen clean, tidy, well presented, and ready to hand over to the next team of chefs</li><li>You may also support the next team of chefs by helping to prep for the next service</li><li>Shift patterns vary, anything between early starts of 8am through to midnight closes</li></ul> What can The Ned give you? The Ned Doha

Located in the former Ministry of Interior building, The Ned Doha offers seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms, event venues, and Ned’s Club, a private members’ club that gives access to spaces including a rooftop terrace, a health club with spa, gym and 30m outdoor pool. Job Purpose:The Ned Doha is seeking a highly talented and visionary Head Chef – Asian Cuisine to lead and elevate our Asian dining concept. This is a senior leadership role for a culinary professional with a strong background in authentic and contemporary Asian cuisine, combined with luxury hotel experience.
