About The Ned:

The Ned launched in 2017 in the heart of the City, in the former Midland Bank headquarters. The Ned City of London houses Ned’s Club - a private members’ space, gym and rooftop - alongside a public spa, a whole floor of event spaces, ten restaurants and bars and 250 hotel bedrooms.

Reporting to the Housekeeping Management team and as a key part of the team, you will:

• Be the first person our team members see as they start their shift; you’re the welcoming face who looks after their uniforms and ensures that over 700 of your colleagues are always looking in top shape
• Take responsibility for all of our guests’ laundry needs and ensure that they receive an exceptional, high-quality service, including monitoring uniform and linen stock levels, flagging shortages, losses or recurring issues
• Train and guide Laundry and Uniform Attendants, and Seamstress during the shift, allocating work and following up on task completion
• Maintain clean, organised and safe laundry and uniform areas, including equipment, storage and working spaces
• Shifts vary between morning and afternoon shifts, the morning shift starting at 0600 and the afternoon shift finishing around 2300

What you can bring to the role:

• Previous experience in a hotel laundry, uniform room, or housekeeping environment
• Experience guiding or supervising team members in a daily operational setting
• Knowledge of safe laundry practices, including equipment use, manual handling and chemical handling
• Previous experience using softwares such as LM Uniform
