The Ned’s Club DC is seeking an exceptional Cocktail Server for The Drawing Room, a refined and dynamic entertainment venue within our private members’ club. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with a passion for personalized service, fast-paced environments, and a strong understanding of luxury guest expectations.

The Cocktail Server will be responsible for elevating the guest experience in the Drawing Room before, during, and after live entertainment and performances. You will act as the primary point of contact for members and guests in the space, delivering swift, intuitive, and polished service that reflects the highest standards of Ned’s Club.

The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.

Seven years after launching The Ned London in 2017, we are proud to have opened a Ned’s Club in 2025 in the US capital, our fourth and newest location.

The Property…

Ned’s Club Washington DC is a members’ club set over three floors of a neoclassical style building situated within President’s Park at 734 15th Street NW. The Riggs Building sits opposite the US Treasury and was constructed in 1930. The 12-story building is located around the corner from the White House and sits above the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, formerly the historic Riggs Bank Corcoran branch.

The Club has a Rooftop Terrace and Loft Restaurant with views overlooking the White House, US Treasury and Washington Monument, plus a Founder’s Dining Room, The Library, Drawing Room, Gallery and Conservatory. On level nine, there is a self-contained floor of private event spaces.

Reporting into the Restaurant management team and as the friendly face of the member experience you will:

• Deliver attentive, anticipatory service to members and guests across The Drawing Room, Library, and Cocktail Terrace

• Execute efficient and polished cocktail service in both refined lounge and high-energy environments

• Prepare and maintain your section before, during, and after service to ensure smooth flow

• Guide guests through cocktail offerings, upsell premium selections, and provide knowledgeable recommendations

• Accurately enter orders using the Micros POS system

• Maintain presentation standards and ambiance specific to each venue

• Support team members and bar staff in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and readiness

• Respond to member and guest needs with urgency, professionalism, and discretion

• Maintain awareness of house events, performances, and offerings to enhance the guest experience

What you can bring to the role:

• Minimum 1–2 years of cocktail or upscale service experience

• Experience in high-volume, upscale lounge, restaurant, nightlife, or outdoor terrace environments preferred

• Familiarity with Micros POS systems

• Strong communication and time management skills

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining service standards

• Passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences

• Knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and wine is a strong advantage

• A desire to learn and grow through ongoing training and development opportunities

• Availability to work evening and late-night hours including weekends, holidays and special events

• Comfortable working across multiple service environments, including outdoor service on the Cocktail Terrace
