Located in the former Ministry of Interior building, The Ned Doha offers seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms, event venues, and Ned’s Club, a private members’ club that gives access to spaces including a rooftop terrace, a health club with spa, gym and 30m outdoor pool. Job Purpose:We are seeking for an Events Executive specialize in selling, planning and organizing corporate events, conferences, and special occasions, ensuring every detail is meticulously planned to exceed client expectations. Responsibilities:<ul><li>Being able to handle independently events of different segments (social, corporate and outside caterings)</li><li>Preparing proposals, contracts, BEOs, maintaining records, and generating reports related to events.</li><li>Handling any issues or challenges that arise before or during events, such as last-minute changes, technical difficulties, or guest complaints.</li><li>Sales and revenue generation by promoting event services, negotiating contracts, and maximizing revenues while meeting the needs of clients within budget constraints.</li><li>Ensuring that guests attending events at the hotel have a positive experience by providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns promptly.</li></ul> Qualifications &amp; Competencies:<ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree</li><li>Proven experience (2&#43; years) in Events Sales and Planning, preferably in a corporate environment.</li><li>Arabic speaker, preferrably female</li><li>Strong organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>Proficiency in event management software</li><li>Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.</li></ul> What’s In It for you?<ul><li>One of the most iconic place to be and work</li><li>Amazing learning and development program</li><li>Discounted rates at The NED Doha</li><li>Fantastic career growth opportunities</li></ul> At The NED, we don&#39;t just celebrate our diversity, we challenge ourselves to do even better.
