Our members expect the most exclusive drinks and cocktails across any of our guest facing or restaurant service bars. What’s the role?Barback Who we are…The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.Seven years after launching The Ned London in 2017, we are proud to have opened a Ned’s Club in the US capital in 2025, our fourth and newest location. The Property…Ned’s Club Washington DC is a members’ club set over three floors of a neoclassical style building situated within President’s Park at 734 15th Street NW. The Riggs Building sits opposite the US Treasury and was constructed in 1930. The 12-story building is located around the corner from the White House and sits above the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, formerly the historic Riggs Bank Corcoran branch. The Club has a Rooftop Terrace and Loft Restaurant with views overlooking the White House, US Treasury and Washington Monument, plus a Founder’s Dining Room, The Library, Drawing Room, Gallery and Conservatory. On level nine, there is a self-contained floor of private event spaces. As part of our Bar operations team and as a key part of the food and beverage team you will: <ul><li>Keep our bar teams stocked with glassware, equipment, and ingredients, allowing them to prepare our range of drinks</li><li>Work at pace as part of our busy operation, making sure everything is where it is needed, when it is needed so that we can deliver smooth and uninterrupted service to our guests and customers</li><li>Help the bar teams to maintain a clean and tidy bar area, always presenting the clean and professional image our customers expect</li></ul> What you can bring to the role: <ul><li> No experience is necessary for this role, so a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn is all you need</li><li>Whilst you will rarely directly serve customers, you will often be visible in and around service areas, so a high standard of personal presentation and a welcoming vibe is essential for this role</li><li>Not essential, but ideally this will be a stepping stone into a bartender role, so a desire to learn and progress is always welcome</li><li>Able to work efficiently and purposefully within the different bars</li><li>Able to stand for long periods of time during his shift</li><li>Open availability to include evenings, nights, weekends and holidays</li></ul> What The Ned can give you: <ul><li>Salary of up to $10.00/hour plus gratuities</li><li>Medical, Dental, Vision, Company Paid Life, STD, LTD Insurance</li><li>Complimentary meals in our friendly team restaurant when the Club opens</li><li>Exciting learning and development programs to help progress your career</li><li>Exclusive rates with our hotels for stays and dining, exclusive rates for your family and friends for hotel stays</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>401k matching</li><li>Employee assistance program - advice and support</li><li>Reward and recognition initiatives</li></ul> At The Ned, we don't just celebrate our diversity, we challenge ourselves to do even better.
