Seven years after launching The Ned London in 2017, we are proud to have opened a Ned’s Club in the US capital, our fourth and newest location.

Ned’s Club Washington DC is a members’ club set over three floors of a neoclassical style building situated within President’s Park at 734 15th Street NW.


The Riggs Building sits opposite the US Treasury and was constructed in 1930. The 12-storey building is located around the corner from the White House and sits above the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, formerly the historic Riggs Bank Corcoran branch.


The Club has a Rooftop Terrace and Loft Restaurant with views overlooking the White House, US Treasury and Washington Monument, plus a Founder’s Dining Room, The Library, Drawing Room, Gallery and Conservatory. On level nine, there is a self-contained floor of private event spaces.


As an integral part of the Facilities team, you will:

  • Develop and execute security and engineering strategies that align with business goals.
  • Lead and mentor security and engineering team leads, and individual contributors.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement with our engineering and security teams as well as outside agencies.
  • Implement security process that align with local, national and federal agency best practices. Ensure a high degree of knowledge around security best practices.
  • Maintain high engineering standards through code reviews, preventative maintenance plans and capital expenditure reviews.
  • Ensure software and infrastructure security, scalability, and performance.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to guide strategic technology decisions.
  • Implement and manage SOP’s targeting security best practices. Key audits, video footage reviews amongst others
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, membership, F&B, reception and outside agencies in delivering on our security obligations and practices.
  • Manage department budgets, tools, and vendor relationships.
  • Report engineering metrics and progress to senior leadership.


What you bring to Ned's Club:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of engineering leadership experience, and 3+ years in security leadership roles preferred.
  • Proven experience managing engineering and security teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results and build high-performing teams.
