The Ned Doha
Located in the former Ministry of Interior building, The Ned Doha offers seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms, event venues, and Ned’s Club, a private members’ club that gives access to spaces including a rooftop terrace, a health club with spa, gym and 30m outdoor pool.
Job Purpose:
The Hotel Driver is responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation for guests to and from various destinations. This role includes ensuring a pleasant and professional experience for our guests while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport guests safely to and from the hotel to designated locations, including airports, tourist attractions, and other destinations.
- Assist guests with luggage and provide information about local attractions and services.
- Maintain the cleanliness and overall condition of the hotel vehicle(s).
- Perform regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and hotel policies to ensure the safety of guests and others.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any guest questions or concerns in a polite and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents.
- Coordinate with the front desk and other hotel staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by hotel management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Qatar driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably in a hospitality setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
