What’s the role?

As the Senior Founder Concierge, you lead the recruitment, servicing and retention of the highest tier of membership, Founders. You will also lead a small team and liaison with other Club teams to support Founders.


About The Ned:

The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.


Seven years after launching The Ned London in 2017, we are proud to be opening a Ned’s Club in the US Capital, our fourth and newest location.


The property:

Ned’s Club Washington, D.C. is a private members’ club set over three floors of the old Walker Building, a neoclassical building situated within President’s Park at 734 15th Street NW. The 12-story building is located around the corner from the White House and sits above the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, formerly the historic Riggs Bank Corcoran branch.


As a key part of our membership team, reporting into the Head of Membership you will:

· Help set the annual membership goals and strategies to reach those goals each year. Report monthly on progress toward those goals

· Be the first point of contact for Founding Membership queries and help convert queries to membership

· Ensure al Founders are onboarded in a timely manner and consistently visit the Club

· Engage Founder Members and their team or guests with all of their needs while in the Club and in the local area

· Facilitate Founder inquiries for private event space ensuring a seamless transition to the Events team

· Develop and implement quarterly Founder programming

· Work closely with all department heads to assist Founder Members in getting the reservations they need to make their visits memorable

· Work closely with key vendors developing preferred vendors list supporting the Founder experience

· Collaborate with the membership team to ensure Founders are integrated into the larger member experience eco system

· Build rapport with our Founder Members over time, learning their preferences and what makes for an amazing experience

· Ensure all data related to Founders is captured in Club technology systems and is timely and update

· Manage a team of additional Founder Concierge(s)


What you can bring to the role:

· At least 10+ years’ experience as a concierge or the equivalent hospitality experience

· A luxury service mentality and commitment to service

· Proven experience leading a hospitality team

· Ability to collaborate with operational teams and management

· Exceptional knowledge and passion for all that the Club and Washington, DC has to offer, so you can make thoughtful and genuine recommendations

· Eager to assist, be approachable, have a bright personality, a genuine warmth and a passion for outstanding hospitality. A high standard of personal presentation and a welcoming vibe

· Ability to recall members preferences, their experiences and genuine ability to anticipate their needs

· High level experience in OpenTable, SalesForce and operational systems in a Windows environment is preferred

· Flexible availability to include holidays, evenings, and weekends
