Who we are…

The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.

Seven years after launching The Ned London in 2017, we are proud to be opening a Ned’s Club in the US capital, our fourth and newest location.


The Property…

Ned’s Club Washington DC is a members’ club set over three floors of a neoclassical style building situated within President’s Park at 734 15th Street NW. The Riggs Building sits opposite the US Treasury and was constructed in 1930. The 12-story building is located around the corner from the White House and sits above the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, formerly the historic Riggs Bank Corcoran branch.

The Club has a Rooftop Terrace and Loft Restaurant with views overlooking the White House, US Treasury and Washington Monument, plus a Founder’s Dining Room, The Library, Drawing Room, Gallery and Conservatory. On level nine, there is a self-contained floor of private event spaces.


As a Lead Restaurant Server on the Food & Beverage team, reporting into the Restaurant management team you will:

• Deliver refined, professional, and anticipatory service in alignment with The Ned’s standards.

• Serve as the point of contact for the floor during service, assisting in managing flow, pacing, and guest satisfaction.

• Lead daily pre-shift meetings and lineups to communicate specials, VIPs, and service priorities.

• Train, mentor, and support fellow servers, ensuring consistent service delivery and knowledge of menus, wine, and cocktails.

• Maintain expert-level knowledge of all menus, including food, beverage, and wine, with the ability to guide members through their dining experience.

• Support management in addressing and resolving member feedback in a timely and professional manner.

• Assist in coordinating service with kitchen, bar, and support staff, ensuring synchronized delivery.

• Monitor table assignments and oversee smooth turnover and seatings during service.

• Maintain a polished appearance and professional demeanor at all times.


What you can bring to the role:

• 3+ years of experience in upscale or luxury hospitality environments, with 1+ years in a leadership or lead server role preferred.

• Deep knowledge of food, wine, and cocktail service, with a passion for hospitality and member engagement.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Professionalism, discretion, and a commitment to excellence.

• Previous experience in a private members club

• Sommelier certification or strong wine knowledge is a plus

• Familiarity with POS system such as MICROS and reservation systems such as Open Table
