Each event we host is different, so you’ll be delivering the perfect tailored service for our guests – while supporting, training and coaching our service team. Who we are…

The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.

Seven years after launching The Ned London in 2017, we are proud to be opening a Ned’s Club in the US capital, our fourth and newest location.

The Property…

Ned’s Club Washington DC is a members’ club set over three floors of a neoclassical style building situated within President’s Park at 734 15th Street NW.

The Riggs Building sits opposite the US Treasury and was constructed in 1930. The 12-storey building is located around the corner from the White House and sits above the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, formerly the historic Riggs Bank Corcoran branch.

The Club has a Rooftop Terrace and Loft Restaurant with views overlooking the White House, US Treasury and Washington Monument, plus a Founder’s Dining Room, The Library, Drawing Room, Gallery and Conservatory. On level nine, there is a self-contained floor of private event spaces.

Reporting into Events Operations leadership team and as an integral part of the Events service team you will:

Train, coach, inspire and celebrate our Catering service team
Provide outstanding hospitality to our guests, tailoring your service to deliver the exceptional experiences that Ned’s Club is known for
Using your unrivalled knowledge of our menus, you’ll answer all guests queries and provide recommendations to make sure every guest receives the perfect meal
Assist and direct the team on set up and tear down for each event from start to finish, taking care of our event space
You will support and lead the team to help them deliver the level of service and standards that our event guests will expect
Our events spaces often need flipping quickly between events, so you may need to assist the following team with preparing linen, glassware, silver etc for upcoming events
Maintain a safe and clean environment, protecting our guests, your teammates, and our agency helpers from any possible harm
Our events space can be busy Monday to Sunday and has late finishing times, so a degree of flexibility is preferred as shifts will vary

You’ll have a fantastic personality, engaging with our events guests to give them an exceptional service
A big part of this job is supporting our teams, training and developing based on elevating service standards
A welcoming personality and ability to guide others is essential
Able to handle stress and high pressure situations with a calm demeanor and tone
Great all-round food and drinks knowledge is an advantage, we can teach you everything you need to know about our menus
