Baristas at The Ned are the coffee experts preparing the hot drinks in in any of our restaurants and bars. Each restaurant or bar has it’s own distinct look, vibe, complete with menu to compliment it. You’ll be serving our customers, members, and guests whether they are waking up and starting their day, keeping fuelled throughout a business meeting, or wrapping up a delicious meal with friends and family.

Who we are…

The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.


The Ned launched in 2017 in the heart of the City, in the former Midland Bank headquarters. The Ned City of London houses Ned’s Club - a private members’ space, gym and rooftop - alongside a public spa, a whole floor of event spaces, ten restaurants and bars and 250 hotel bedrooms.


Reporting into the bar management team you will:

  • Prepare and serve up perfectly made hot drinks from our range of menus
  • On our guest service bars you will be the friendly face providing exceptional experiences, along with recommendations and suggested drinks
  • On our service bars you will speedily prepare the orders as they come in, keeping our waiters and runners stocked with the hot drinks they need to deliver a seamless experience to our guests
  • All of our bars are in full view of the guests so a tidy, presentable, and slick operation is essential
  • Be a guardian of drink quality and presentation, never letting anything lower than Ned standards reach our guests
  • Maintain a safe and clean bar environment, protecting our guests and your teammates from any possible harm


What you can bring to the role:

  • You’ll have a fantastic personality, engaging with our customers to give them an exceptional service
  • You’ll have great all-round coffee and hot drinks knowledge
  • If you have the desire to learn and progress then you can take part including the option to gain a Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) qualification, and extensive bar training as part of our monthly learning calendar
