About The Ned:

The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.

Seven years after launching The Ned London in 2017, we are proud to be opening a Ned’s Club in the US capital, our fourth and newest location.

The property:

Ned’s Club Washington DC is a members’ club set over three floors of a neoclassical style building situated within President’s Park at 734 15th Street NW. The Riggs Building sits opposite the US Treasury and was constructed in 1930. The 12-story building is located around the corner from the White House and sits above the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, formerly the historic Riggs Bank Corcoran branch.

Reporting into the F&B Managers and as a key part of our restaurant operations team you will:

Lead a team of hosts to welcome and settle our members and guests, setting the tone for the rest of their visit
Handle guest requests and queries regarding their reservations
Collaborate with our bar, floor, and management teams, providing them with information about the guests visit so they can deliver the amazing experiences Ned’s Club is known for
Build rapport with regular guests over time, learning their preferences and what makes for an amazing experience – storing this information on our bookings system
As a junior member of the leadership team, you will be a guardian of outstanding hospitality within your team, modelling behaviors and providing coaching and feedback where needed
Set our management and service teams up for success by providing key information about the guests to allow them to surprise and delight them with exceptional hospitality
Assist and work with our Members Relations and Concierge team to exceed our guest expectations

This can be a high-pressure role, so a calm demeanor and ability to defuse situations and turn them into a positive is extremely valuable
In our Club spaces you may be looking after high-profile people who value their privacy, so a degree of confidentiality is non-negotiable
Previous experience as a Lead Host or Lead Guest Service Agent is preferred
