The Ned Doha
Located in the former Ministry of Interior building, The Ned Doha offers seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms, event venues, and Ned’s Club, a private members’ club that gives access to spaces including a rooftop terrace, a health club with spa, gym and 30m outdoor pool.
Job Purpose:
The Valet Manager is responsible for overseeing all valet operations, ensuring efficient and smooth service for guests. This role involves managing valet staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and handling day-to-day operational challenges. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the valet service, ensuring smooth and efficient service for all guests.
- Recruit, train, and manage valet staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service, addressing any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local regulations.
- Manage and monitor valet parking equipment and supplies.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Handle any emergency situations or incidents in a calm and efficient manner.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Prepare and manage the valet service budget, including monitoring expenses and revenues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a valet or hospitality background.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.
