Our employees are expected to look their best and feel special in their uniform. As our Uniform Attendant you will play a big part in ensuring they are dressed for success. You will be assisting with organizing and giving our employees their uniforms before and after their shifts.

Who we are…

The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.

Seven years after launching The Ned London in 2017, we are proud to be opening a Ned’s Club in the US capital, our fourth and newest location.

The Property…

Ned’s Club Washington DC is a members’ club set over three floors of a neoclassical style building situated within President’s Park at 734 15th Street NW. The Riggs Building sits opposite the US Treasury and was constructed in 1930. The 12-story building is located around the corner from the White House and sits above the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, formerly the historic Riggs Bank Corcoran branch.

The Club has a Rooftop Terrace and Loft Restaurant with views overlooking the White House, US Treasury and Washington Monument, plus a Founder’s Dining Room, The Library, Drawing Room, Gallery and Conservatory. On level nine, there is a self-contained floor of private event spaces.

Reporting into the Operations team and as the friendly face of the employee experience you will:

• Look after our employees uniforms when they are being sent out for cleaning and when they return
• Help with locating uniforms and report when any uniforms are missing
• Keep uniform room neat and clean
• Be able to help with sewing needs; able to use a sewing machine to hem pants, sew buttons and fix minor tailoring needs
• Inspect all uniforms to make sure they meet Ned standards and are pressed and dry cleaned properly by the dry cleaning company
• Assist employees with any uniform request or issues they might have
• Pull and provide uniforms for new employees and return departing employees uniforms back to inventory
• Complete uniform inventory and provide Managers with what items need to be ordered.

What you can bring to the role:

• Experience with uniform maintenance and organizing uniforms
• Able to use a sewing machine
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Bright personality and genuine warmth with a passion for helping others
