About The Ned:

The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.


The Ned launched in 2017 in the heart of the City, in the former Midland Bank headquarters. The Ned City of London houses Ned’s Club - a private members’ space, gym and rooftop - alongside a public spa, a whole floor of event spaces, ten restaurants and bars and 250 hotel bedrooms.


Where will you be working?

We’re in the beautiful old Midland Bank building in the City of London (there isn’t a nicer building in the city, but we’re biased). We’re five days a week in the office, as we’re very relationship-focussed and it’s just not the same on a screen.


Reporting to the Communications Director, as part of the Communications team you will:

  • Lead and inspire the graphic design team, setting the creative vision and ensuring every project reflects The Ned’s high standards
  • Develop strong, cohesive visual identities and brand storytelling across all touchpoints
  • Oversee the technical execution of creative projects, including menu design from concept to artwork, ensuring flawless delivery
  • Collaborate with the Communications Director, Communications Manager and Creative Strategists to ensure brand-led projects align with company vision and strategy
  • Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, ensuring consistent application across print, digital, packaging, marketing collateral and internal communications
  • Mentor and grow the design team, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation and professional development
  • Work closely with the interiors team, external agencies and suppliers to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Keep ahead of industry trends, design tools and emerging technology to continually push creative boundaries

What you can bring to the role:

  • Ideally you'll have a a degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field
  • Proven experience in delivering strong visual identities within hospitality or a similar sector
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) with strong typography, layout, and artworking skills
  • Experience in motion graphics and 3D design software (After Effects, Cinema 4D) is a bonus
  • Experience mentoring designers and leading creative projects would be beneficial
  • Strong strategic thinking and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines and budgets
  • A passion for branding, storytelling, and pushing creative boundaries
