Located in the former Ministry of Interior building, The Ned Doha offers seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms, event venues, and Ned’s Club, a private members’ club that gives access to spaces including a rooftop terrace, a health club with spa, gym and 30m outdoor pool.
Job Purpose:
Join our dynamic team at The Ned Doha as a Banquet Waiter, and be a part of creating memorable experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications (tables, chairs, linen, silverware, glassware, etc.)
- Serve food and beverages to guests during banquets, conferences, and events
- Clear tables and clean event spaces efficiently and professionally
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and service throughout the event
- Assist with event preparation and post-event breakdown
- Work closely with kitchen and event staff to ensure smooth service
- Provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service at all times
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Previous experience in a banquet or restaurant setting is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Well-groomed and professional appearance
