Located in the former Ministry of Interior building, The Ned Doha offers seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms, event venues, and Ned’s Club, a private members’ club that gives access to spaces including a rooftop terrace, a health club with spa, gym and 30m outdoor pool.


Job Purpose:

We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Housekeeping Porter.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist housekeeping staff with delivering and collecting linen, towels, and supplies to and from rooms.
  • Transport and deliver guest requests, amenities, and luggage in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure that housekeeping carts are stocked and organized.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of corridors, stairways, and public areas.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the relevant department.
  • Assist with general housekeeping duties as required, including removing trash, cleaning storage areas, and assisting with room turnovers.
  • Work closely with housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
  • Follow hotel policies and procedures to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting and moving supplies.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable attitude.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests.
