Located in the former Ministry of Interior building, The Ned Doha offers seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms, event venues, and Ned’s Club, a private members’ club that gives access to spaces including a rooftop terrace, a health club with spa, gym and 30m outdoor pool.
Job Purpose:
As the Membership Development Manager, you will play a strategic role in the growth and sustainability of Ned’s Club Doha by leading the development of new business through membership sales, strategic partnerships, and event-led engagement. This role bridges commercial acumen with hospitality excellence, leveraging your background in events and relationship management to drive membership acquisition, elevate brand positioning, and support contract lifecycle management.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining key external partnerships that align with the club’s values and audience, creating meaningful pipelines for membership opportunities. You will also oversee the administration and compliance of membership contracts, ensuring accurate records, timely renewals, and a seamless onboarding experience for new members.
A proactive, results-oriented approach and a deep understanding of luxury lifestyle communities, sales strategy, and events will be critical to your success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Membership Sales & Acquisition
- Drive individual and corporate membership sales through targeted outreach, referral programs, prospect nurturing, and active networking.
- Conduct tours and consultations with potential members, effectively communicating the club's values, offerings, and benefits.
- Use Salesforce CRM to manage the sales funnel, ensuring accurate tracking of prospects, leads, conversions, and renewals.
- Report regularly on KPIs related to membership growth and retention.
- Partnership Development
- Identify and build partnerships with high-end brands, organizations, and institutions aligned with the Ned’s Club brand and target audience.
- Develop cross-promotional campaigns, events, and collaborations that drive visibility, add value to the membership, and attract new members.
- Represent Ned’s Club at relevant external events and forums to position the brand as a thought leader in the luxury lifestyle and hospitality space.
- Events & Community Engagement
- Collaborate with the Senior Member Events Executive to create strategic event programming that supports both member retention and acquisition.
- Host high-value events for prospects and partners, ensuring they reflect the club’s brand and attract targeted audiences.
- Work alongside operations, F&B, and marketing teams to ensure events are well-executed and create lasting impressions.
- Membership Contracts Management
- Oversee the end-to-end management of membership contracts, ensuring compliance with policies, accurate documentation, and timely processing.
- Coordinate renewals, upgrades, and suspensions in line with company procedures.
- Ensure all new members are onboarded smoothly with contracts, welcome packs, app setup, and induction into the community.
- Operational & Strategic Collaboration
- Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, brand messaging, digital content, and communications for membership acquisition and engagement.
- Monitor membership trends, market competition, and member feedback to inform sales and product strategy.
- Ensure alignment of all efforts with overall membership goals and The Ned’s standards of excellence.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- 4+ years of experience in membership sales, partnerships, business development, or luxury hospitality.
- Strong background in events planning or event-driven business development, ideally within a premium or members-only environment.
- Proven ability to build and maintain high-value partnerships and a strong network.
- Familiarity with membership contract management, compliance, and documentation.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Commercially driven mindset with an understanding of luxury positioning and client experience.
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and MS Office suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for events or prospect engagements.
- Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
