Finance Analyst
About the Ned
The Ned launched in 2017 in the heart of the City, in the former Midland Bank headquarters. The Ned City of London houses Ned’s Club - a private members’ space, gym and rooftop - alongside a public spa, a whole floor of event spaces, ten restaurants and bars and 250 hotel bedrooms.
Reporting into the Head of Finance you will:
- Take ownership of P&Ls and conduct small reviews with Heads of Departments and Management teams across the business
- Have accountability working on balance sheets and audit them regularly for anomalies
- Support weekly and monthly financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting functions
- Provide training for your colleagues in Operations department, including hotel financial operations, forecasting and planning, cost control and performance analysis, to set them up for success
- Own personal projects to drive improvements in the finance department and support your professional development

What you can bring to the role:
- Previous experience as an accountant or in a comparable role joined by an experience within the hospitality industry and working towards formal qualifications
- A strong emphasis on the compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards, supporting overall hotel performance and efficiency, with a focus on our London branch
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills such as emotional intelligence and leadership, to champion business partnering with Operations teams
- The ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality
