Who we are…
The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.
The Ned launched in 2017 in the heart of the City, in the former Midland Bank headquarters. The Ned City of London houses Ned’s Club - a private members’ space, gym and rooftop - alongside a public spa, a whole floor of event spaces, ten restaurants and bars and 250 hotel bedrooms.
Reporting into the IRD leadership team and as the friendly face of the guest experience you will:
- Be the main point of contact for your guests’ entire visit, tailoring your service to deliver the exceptional experiences that The Ned is known for
- Using your unrivalled knowledge of our menus, you’ll answer all guests queries and provide recommendations to make sure every guest receives the perfect meal
- You’ll be visiting guests in their hotel rooms so you will always be impeccably presented, delivering a slick operation, all with a friendly and open energy
- Be the last guardian of food and drink quality and presentation, never letting anything lower than Ned standards reach our guests
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, protecting our guests and your teammates from any possible harm
- Shifts vary between an 0700 start and a late finish
What you can bring to the role:
- You’ll have a fantastic personality, engaging with our customers to give them an exceptional service
- Great all-round food and drinks knowledge is an advantage, but we can teach you everything you need to know about our menus
- You’ll be taking orders and answering guests queries on the phone as well as in person, so an excellent phone manner and communication skills are essential
- We love people to continuously improve, so if you have the desire to learn and progress then you will have the option to take part in loads of learning here at The Ned as part of our monthly learning calendar
